Mount Cook from Sealy Tarns
Despite the 2000 steps it takes to get up to this location, it's definitely worth the view with Mount Cook and the Hooker Valley below. At the time I was there, you can see that the conditions were pretty cold! So cold that I had to go down earlier than planned because I just couldn't get my sweaty clothes warm (and the steps were getting pretty icy and slippery already). I had planned to go to Mueller Hut but logistically couldn't time it without incurring another night's accommodation fee! Mueller Hut is the same vertical slog again from Sealy Tarns.
