This KAP session was one of the 31 KAP & PAP sessions we had over a week stay on Easter Island… Over 10 000 images to sort, delete and edit…

The sun was out by 7:40 AM and we only had a window of 3 minutes of perfect light, the kite was already up in the air and as soon as the sun rose over the ocean the rig was up above the Moais. It was interesting to see that a dozen other visitors had also made it for sunrise, but all of them were facing the sun, we were looking for the shadows !

The reason I uploaded this picture is because I finally finished an article on environmental psychology that I have been playing around with for about 5 years and this is the picture I included at the end of the article.

Environmental psychology is about the relationship between human behaviour and our environments. I used this picture and a picture of bluebells in the Forest of Dean to illustrate a point about the extraordinary variety of natural environments that we find attractive.

Que lindoooooooooooooo.........

Levantado entre 1751 y 1793, en su construcción intervinieron varios arquitectos siendo el más destacado el aragonés D. José Martín de Aldehuela. Se eleva 98 metros sobre el cauce del río Guadalevín. Hubo un puente anterior construido en 1734 , de un solo arco de medio punto, se derrumbo estrepitosamente pasados seis años, provocando la muerte de 50 personas.

I had few shots with the 400mm lens, then I had problems with the focus system. Probably due to the -8°C plus wind. This is shot with my 70-200 + 2x extender.

A quick test of the Canon 400mm f/2.8 L for the Lunar Eclipse session in the morning. It was windy and cold on my balcony when I shot this test, it dit not help out with crisp detail. I hope it's going to be calm in the morning.
