Mount Doom - Volcano Eyjafjallajökull on the 13.th of mai. Thunders and lightnings striking through the black ash moody sky above the erupting crater. Steam "skull" figure rising from the melting Gígjökull glacier while 1000°C hot lava bursts it's way down the glacier.
Right after KAPiNED/10 and CAPiNED/10, Heidy and I stopped in Dieppe and then in Etretat in Normandy.
The NW wind was very light and the Dan Leigh R8 Delta could just lift a Nano carbon rig with the GoPro Hero HD.
Despite the light wind, the aerology created by the cliffs made the flight quite challenging !

The erupting volcano Eyjafjallajökull on the 24th of april. The wind turning the ash mist towards the west coast of Iceland, shutting down all flight in the country for several days. The farmers in tha Eyjafjöll peninsula started to clean their homes, machinery and fields, after some weeks of dark ash cloud hoovering over the area. The thickness of the ash layers on the fields were up to 4cm thick in some areas.
